Gail Socia, age 68, of Pickford, Michigan, died on October 27, 2024, at her home. She was born on January 17, 1956, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, to Albert Jr. and Geraldine (Lubinski) Socia.
Gail grew up in Mount Clemens and graduated from Pickford High School. Shortly after graduation she moved back downstate where she worked as a sterilization technician in the healthcare industry. Gail decided to move back to the Upper Peninsula where she settled in Pickford and worked at her family’s business, Dan’s Resort, making reservations, cleaning cabins and bookkeeping.
Gail loved crocheting and her cats and dogs.
Gail is survived by her sister, Karen Lacklin; brother, Daniel (Kathleen) Socia; sister, Denise (Darrell) Harp; and brother, Michael (Paula) Socia.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Geraldine; sister, Susan Reinhardt; and twin brother, Gary Socia.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, at Family Life Funeral Homes, 24549 S. M-129 Pickford, MI 49774. A Graveside Burial will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery.
The final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery, in Pickford, Michigan.
