A water main break in Brimley Tuesday evening was repaired today.
The break was noticed by a passerby around 8 p.m. just west of M-221 on West Lakeshore Drive.
The break affects about fifty properties on West Lakeshore Drive to the Bay Mills Indian Reservation line.
Rich Phillips, the Superior. Township Water and Sewer Supervisor, says the main is about eight feet underground and near fiber optic lines.
Norris Contractors completed the repairs late this morning. All lanes of the road are expected to reopen by mid-afternoon.
