State Rep. Parker Fairbairn, R-Harbor Springs, on Monday announced his legislative office was officially open. He encouraged residents of the Northern Lower Peninsula and Eastern Upper Peninsula to reach out for help with state departments or to share input or ask questions regarding legislative issues.

“I am excited and honored to have been elected to serve in a position of such great responsibility, representing some of the northern lower and easter upper peninsulas’ most beautiful communities and hardworking residents,” Fairbairn said. “In addition to advocating for our district’s interests - in every policy and appropriations bill that comes before me - I have also staffed my office with a small team geared toward assisting you with your questions and concerns relating existing laws, pending legislation, and state departments, programs and services. If there is anything with which we can be of service, I hope you won’t hesitate to contact my office.”
