UPDATE:
EMMET COUNTY – Michigan State Police say a 25-year-old man from Cheboygan has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run earlier today.
At around 7:20 a.m. a 48-year-old woman from Colorado was struck and killed while jogging on the shoulder of southbound US-31 near Luce Road in Emmet County near Petoskey
The jogger was struck by a black 2013-2017 Dodge pickup truck that fled the scene, police said.
The truck sustained front-end damage, and the grill was located at the scene.
Michigan State Police now say the vehicle was located by law enforcement at a local business. The driver was taken into custody.

EMMET COUNTY – Michigan State Police say they are trying to identify the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run this morning near Petoskey.
Police say at around 7:20 a.m. a 48-year-old woman from Colorado was struck and killed while jogging on the shoulder of southbound US-31 near Luce Road in Emmet County.
She was struck by a black 2013-2017 Dodge pickup truck that fled the scene.
State police said the truck has front-end damage, and the grill was located at the scene.
