The Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement (SANE) team arrested a 30-year-old man and 24-year-old woman from Alanson after executing a search warrant at their residence.
On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, SANE and deputies from the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in Alanson. Detectives seized methamphetamine, ketamine, clonazepam pills, lorazepam pills, suboxone pills, hydrocodone pills, suspected LSD, and evidence of distribution which included digital scales, cash, and baggies. The two individuals were arrested for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver ketamine, possession of clonazepam, possession of lorazepam, possession of suboxone, possession of hydrocodone, maintaining a drug house and using a computer to commit a felony.
Both were lodged in the Emmet County Jail pending arraignment. The man was released on a $10,000 cash surety bond and will be arraigned on a later date. The woman was released on a $5,000 cash surety bond and will be arraigned on a later date.
