Brimley man charged with possessing cocaine

On Friday, October 4, 2024, at approximately 3:15 p.m. a trooper from the Michigan State Police (MSP) Gaylord Lake Post conducted a traffic stop on US-27 near Eagles Nest in Tuscarora Township.

The driver of the vehicle, 44-year-old Michael Adam Scott from Brimley, did not have a valid driver’s license and was found to be in possession of cocaine.

He was arrested and lodged in the Cheboygan County Jail.

Scott was arraigned yesterday in the 89 th District Court in Cheboygan County on one count Possession Cocaine Less Than 25 grams, one count Driving While License Suspended/Revoked, and Operating a Vehicle without Security/Insurance.

He was given a PR bond.

His next scheduled court appearance is on October 31, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
