Angelic “Angie” Marie (Mayer) Krol, age 62, died on July 14, 2024, in Pickford, Michigan, surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with bile duct cancer. She was born on July 17, 1962 in Fibre, Michigan to Eugene and Lois (Grant) Mayer.

Angie grew up in Fiber and attended Rudyard High School where she graduated with the Class of ‘80. After high school, she attended Lake Superior State College, where she met her adoring husband of forty-one years, Robert “Bob” Krol, and they both graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. The two married on August 27, 1983, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

Angie and Bob were active members of the Fundamental Baptist Church in Kinross, Michigan.

Angie was a wonderful hostess, an avid gardener, a great seamstress, and in retirement, found a love for watercolor painting. She had a quiet, Godly, and loving personality, and she was “the glue that brought our family together”. Angie took pride in homeschooling her children, she was a vital part of her family, and was loved deeply by them. She formed an especially close relationship to her two granddaughters.

Angie is survived by her husband, Bob Krol; her three adult children, Savannah (Samuel) Jezowski, Jacob (Nicole) Krol, and Eli (Libby Marfia) Krol; her 11 siblings, Susan (Dean) Reid, Anita (Richard) Lovegrove, Christine (Craig Willour) Mayer, Tina Wettig, Bernadette (Bob) McDowell, Rose (Don) Liedke, Darlene (Edward) Folkersma, Malissa (Matthew) Mobley, Michael (Janet) Mayer, Jody (Kim) Mayer, and John Mayer.

Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Lois Mayer; and sister, JoAnne Mayer.

A Visitation will be on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Fundamental Baptist Church, 3255 W. M-80, Kinross, MI 49752, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a Funeral Service to follow.

Angie’s final resting place will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, DeTour Village, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Angie’s name to Camp Canaanland, at 3255 W. M-80, Kinross, MI 49752.
