Judith Marie Butler, age 81, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, died on February 19, 2025, at the Ball Hospice House in Sault Ste. Marie. She was born on May 2, 1943, in Sault Ste. Marie, to Glenn and Edna (O’Connor) Peffers.
Judith was raised in Sault Ste. Marie. She met and married the love of her life Glen Butler. They had four children, and loved raising them in the Algonquin neighborhood, where they all made lifelong friends. Judith enjoyed many years of working at Walmart. She treasured being surrounded by all her family.
Judith loved fishing and going on long car rides with her honey, Glen. She was an avid Detroit Lions fan and always loved watching the games on TV.
Judith is survived by her daughter, Betty (Kirk) Crabb of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; sons, William (Lisa) Butler of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Robert (Seham) Butler of Kincheloe, Michigan, and Barry (Michelle) Butler of Sault Ste. Marie; grandchildren, Glenna (Dan) Reasland, Kirk (Renae) Crabb, Mackenzie Burden, Spencer Butler, Joey (Teresa) Ogston, Tanya (JD) Hoolsema, Jessica Richardson, Steven (Amy) Loonsfoot, Tracy (Nick) Donaldson, and Myles Butler; and twenty great-grandchildren.
Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon; and parents, Glenn and Edna.
