Donald Leopold Gingras, age 64, died on November 13, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Sault. He was born on October 12, 1960, in Blind River, Ontario, and was adopted by Leo and Isabelle (Caron) Gingras.
Donald grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and moved to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan in the 1990’s. He met Sheila Barker and they married on November 18, 1994, and had two sons.
Donald was an avid NASCAR fan with Dale Earnhardt being one of his favorite drivers. He loved attending races over the years with his family. Don was mechanically inclined and liked to work on small engines. He also enjoyed going camping with his family.
Donald is survived by his wife, Sheila Gingras; sons, Justin Gingras and Nicholas Gingras of Sault Ste. Marie; sister, Marlene (Rob) Gingras; and beloved pet, Lady.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Isabelle.
