Clyde Alan Kruse, age 82, died on February 3, 2025, in Clinton Township, Michigan. He was born on May 3, 1942, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, to Harold and Geraldine (Gass) Kruse.

Clyde was a sixty-year resident of Washington, Michigan. He joined the United States Army and worked telecommunications in Okinawa, Japan. He moved on to doing photography for General Dynamics, where he eventually retired from. He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, playing uno, playing the lottery, and listening to AM radio. He loved the Upper Peninsula. On Friday nights, he would meet up with his friends at Wendy’s, and there was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with his family and friends.

Clyde was a member of the United Methodist Church of Washington.

Clyde is survived by his son, Craig (Nancy) Kruse of Romeo, Michigan; nephew, Bill (Dana) Kruse Jr. of Brighton, Michigan; niece, Maryjo (Gary) Wood; grandchildren, Peyton (Amber) Kruse, Kayla Kruse, and Blake Kruse; and great-grandchildren, Wolfgang, Nash, Ellie, Myles, and Luka.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Geraldine; son, Alan Kruse; and brothers, Lynn Kruse, Bill Kruse Sr., and Bob Kruse.

A Graveside Service will be held in the spring.

Clyde’s final resting place will be at the Drummond Island Cemetery.
