JETA Corporation, a distributor of materials from global manufacturers and suppliers, held its grand opening Wednesday afternoon.
The new business, located near Sanderson Field Airport, is a Native American and female-owned company supplying electrical products, safety equipment, tools and much more.
The company's corporate office is located in Neenah, WI with a California office located in Nipono. The office in Sault Ste. Marie is its third.
Linda Grow, the CEO of JETA, was born and raised in Michigan as a member of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians, and has always wanted to create something special in the Sault.
"Linda's goal has always been to bring back opportunity for the community, herself and things to do to call it back home again," said Thomas Grow, Senior V.P. of Marketing and Sales, and Linda's husband. "Things have been working out real well."
Grow said they hope to expand JETA even more in the near future on the property they have behind the current building.
