“Head Start helps children build essential skills for school success while also offering crucial support for families.”
Early Head Start is a federally funded program that provides comprehensive child development and family support services to pregnant women, infants, and toddlers up to age three in either a home-based or center-based option. The program aims to foster strong parent-child relationships while preparing young children for future learning and success. Contact Community Action at 906-632-3363 for eligibility information.
“Enrolling in Head Start early ensures families get the support they need, and children get the best start possible,” said Stacie Feltis, Enrollment Services Manager, CLMCAA. “We encourage parents to apply now so their child doesn’t miss out on these free, high-quality early learning opportunities.”
Head Start and Early Head Start are free programs for eligible families and provide comprehensive services, including early education, developmental screenings, nutritious meals, and family support services.
