Megan Stefanski was named the 2024 NFL's Fan of the Year Thursday evening.

Thursday night, the National Football League held its annual NFL Honors ceremony,  and during that ceremony, they crowned the 2024 NFL Fan of the Year to the Eastern U.P.'s very own, Megan Stefanski.

Stefanski has been a Detroit Lions fan for as long as she can remember. Growing up, she attended tons of games with her father Donnie "Yooperman" Stefanski. Together, the pair also ran Yooperman's Bar in the small town of Goetzville in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Donnie passed away in 2019, but she continued their tradition on her own by making the 365-mile drive from Goetzville to Detroit for every Lions' home game.

Megan was also named, most recently, the 2024 Detroit Lions' Fan of the Year.

Stefanski brought together fans from around Michigan to raise thousands of dollars for charity.  Last year, she raised a total of $37,000 for Hospice of the EUP.

Megan, a school librarian by day, also wrote a children's book about herself, her dad, and the love of the Lions called "Yooperman's Pride: Football is Family."
