Firefighters were back on the scene this morning where a fire destroyed a cabin near Eckerman, in Chippewa County, last night.
Crews cleared the scene around 4 a.m. Monday morning after being dispatched to the fire around 8 p.m. Sunday. Around 9 a.m. today, firefighters went back to the scene to put water on some hot spots that flared back up.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
