The Chippewa Luce Mackinac Community Action Agency (CLMCAA) is happy to announce the success of our recent Brat Fundraiser held on July 16, generously sponsored by Soo Brewing Company. This event, aimed at raising funds for the homeless in our community, surpassed all expectations, both in terms of attendance and contributions.
The event, hosted at Soo Brewing Company, drew an impressive turnout of community members eager to support this important cause. Attendees enjoyed delicious brats, cool beverages, lively conversations, and a true sense of community spirit.
"We are excited to share that we had a record turnout and raised enough funds to provide 25 nights of shelter," said Executive Director Joe Nolan. "Our agency is grateful for the sponsorship of Soo Brewing Company, and the generous cash donations from Lume Cannabis Company and North Coast Provisions. These local businesses, together with our amazing community members, came together to make a difference in the lives of those facing or experiencing homelessness."
