H.J. Res. 35 – Repealing the Biden administration’s tax on natural gas
Rep. Bergman explained, “The natural gas tax that Democrats imposed on the American People was absurd from the start. It contributed to sky-high energy prices and left our country dependent on foreign energy. My colleagues and I scrapped this disastrous deal that only served to hurt and burden Michigan families.”
H.J. Res. 20 – Ending the Biden administration’s ban on gas-fired water heaters
“I voted in favor of ending the Biden Administration’s radical ban on gas-fired water heaters because this overreaching rule slashed jobs, hiked up energy costs, and restricted American families. This was just another example of how far the tentacles of bureaucracy had woven into our everyday lives. Thankfully, Republicans in Congress are working with President Trump to reverse these detrimental rules and restore freedom for our families and communities,” Rep. Bergman stated.
