Bay Mills tribal government operations and the health center will open late on Friday morning as inclement weather is expected to cause delays.
"Pursuant to our Inclement Weather and Emergencies Policy, Bay Mills tribal government operations will be automatically delayed until 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025," the Tribe said in an email to media. "This includes Bay Mills Health Center."
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for all of Chippewa County and the eastern half of Mackinac Country from Friday at 4 a.m. until Saturday at 4 a.m.
Heavy snow and strong winds are expected.
