Jennifer Marie Papin, age 45, of DeTour Village, Michigan, died on June 20, 2024, in Cedarville, Michigan. She was born on March 28, 1979, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, to Brian and Pamela (Soule) McAdam.
Jenn grew up in DeTour and graduated from DeTour High School with the Class of 1997. After graduation, she attended cosmetology school in Sault Ste. Marie and was a cosmetologist for a couple of years. She started dating Ron Papin Jr., whom she met during high school, and they married on June 26, 1999, at the DeTour Union Presbyterian Church. They moved to Drummond Island, Michigan, where they started their family and lived for a couple of years before moving back and settling in DeTour.
Jenn was the president of the DeTour Sports Boosters Club.
Jenn enjoyed raising animals on their farm and helping her children with their 4-H animals. She liked to garden, travel, and look for puddingstones. But above all, she loved spending time with her children, and grandchildren more than anything.
Jenn is survived by her husband of 24 years, Ron; children, Christy (Jesse) Fravala, Kimberly Papin, Ronald Papin, Timothy Papin and Tiffany Papin; grandchildren, Darren, Dustin, and Drayke Fravala; parents, Brian and Pamela; and sister, Jessica (Leon) McAdam.
Jenn was preceded in death by her grandparents.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 1:00 PM till 4:00 PM at Family Life Funeral Home in Pickford, Michigan. The Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 PM.
Final Resting Place will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in DeTour Township, Michigan.
