Carrie Elizabeth (Cardinal) Clow, age 62, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, died at her home on July 9, 2024. She was born on January 26, 1962, in Sault Ste. Marie, to Norman J. and Peggy Joyce (Whitt) Cardinal.

Carrie grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and graduated from Sault Area High School. She met Gary A. Clow while bartending at Red Bird Bar and they married on March 26, 1988, in Sault Ste. Marie. She earned her Child Development Associate Certificate from Bay Mills Community College and began working as a teacher’s aide for Sault Ste. Marie Community Action Head Start in September 1999, retiring in May 2013. She spent her last several years traveling the country.

Carrie was a member of the New Hope Revival Church in Kinross, Michigan. She loved her fellowship and being there for the kids.

Carrie loved baking custom cakes and enjoyed bowling, painting, camping in Brevort, Michigan, and at Jellystone Campgrounds, during the summer. She was an amazing mother and wife, and her grandchildren were her entire world.

Carrie is survived by her sons, Austin (Michaela) Clow of Marquette, Michigan, and Adam (Miranda) Clow of Lehigh Acres, Florida; stepchildren, Shawn Clow, Kevin Clow, and Nikki (Cory) Molina all of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Colton, Adalynn, Bella, Ian, Jordan, Cassious, Ammon, Roscoe, Joey, and Nicole; great-grandchild, Renee; sisters, Wilma Rushford of Sault Ste. Marie, Cheryl (Scott) Fitzgerald of Sault Ste. Marie, and Cindy (Gary) Smith of Lady Lake, Florida; brothers, Chris (Susie) Cardinal of Sault Ste. Marie, and Chad (Janet) Cardinal of Sault Ste. Marie; and sister-in-law, Debbie Bulloch of Hillsdale, Michigan.

Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; parents, Norman and Peggy; and stepbrothers, John and Mark Bulloch.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 12:00 AM to 1:00 PM at New Hope Community Church, 66 Cedar Grove Dr., Kinross, Michigan 49788. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM, with a Funeral Procession to follow at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens. Afterwards, a luncheon will be served at the New Hope Community Church.

Final Resting Place will be at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens in Bruce Township, Michigan.
