Zach DeWald has won his first career Parker Ace Hardware International 500 Snowmobile Race Pole Award after setting the fastest time in Wheeler Trucking #SooI500 Pole Qualifying presented by Owosso Speedway.
The 22-year-old from AuGres, MI went a 40.011 = 89.975 mph on Tuesday afternoon and that time, aboard his #57 Felzke Farms / Mickey's Factory Racing / Polaris snowmobile machine, withstood the remaining qualifying sessions to give DeWald the pole position.
The official starting line-up for the 55th running of the International 500 Snowmobile Race will be announced at the conclusion of the 2 p.m. 2024 Riders Meeting this afternoon.
