The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 11 p.m. this evening (3/3/25) to 10 a.m. Tuesday (3/4/25) for Chippewa. Luce and Mackinac Counties.
After a day filled with sunshine and temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s, freezing rain is expected to develop later this evening and continue through mid-morning producing a light glaze to 1/10th of an inch.
Temperatures will warm well above freezing late Tuesday morning through the afternoon ending the freezing rain threat with only light rain expected.
