Multiple law enforcement agencies and fire departments spent several hours today at the scene of a house fire in St. Ignace.
Law enforcement was dispatched to the scene just after 2:30 p.m. according to the Mackinac County 911 Coordinator.
Soon after police arrived, a fire erupted.
As a precaution, the school buildings were placed on lockdown.
The scene remains fluid tonight.
