Soo Theatre presents 2025 Soo Goes to the Opera Sat. March 8 at 4 p.m. at Sault Wesleyan Church 3556 Seymour St. just south of 3 mile road.
Join them for this family-friendly walk down memory lane that includes a walk through Hansel and Gretel’s woodland path, the Queen of the Night’s daughter Pamina and the sweet friend she meets on the road as they sing about relationships, and more.
This free concert will be presented with the Soo Youth Orchestra and Friends with Voice Students of musical theater who enjoy dabbling in opera for young people.
Organizers recommend to bring the family and dress up as your favorite character from Hansel and Gretel, The Pirates of Penzance, The Magic Flute, or The Marriage of Figaro or just come in your opera best.
The performance will run around one-hour and refreshments will be served immediately after. There will also be an opportunity to meet the performers.
