If you’re heading to Escanaba this weekend, you may run into a bit of construction on the way home.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will be resurfacing about 1.9 miles of US-2 from north of Ludington Street to 20th Avenue.
Work is expected to start Sunday, July 16 and run until Tuesday, July 18.
“Motorists should expect lane closures and traffic shifts,” the department said in a news release. “Most work will be done at night.”
