MARQUETTE – Organizers of Marquette’s annual Revolve Creative Collaboration Conference (Revolve CC) have announced the conference will return to Marquette Nov. 8-9, 2024.

Conference registration includes access to three keynote speakers and two unique pathways: Ignite and Forge.

Ignite is about setting ablaze your creativity with talks and seminar-focused conversations about creative work, while Forge focuses on making and workshop-style sessions.

The conference will take place at the Northern Center at Northern Michigan University, 1401 Presque Isle Ave. Friday’s conference sessions will be at the NMU Art and Design Building. To view the full 2024 conference schedule click here.

Revolve CC encourages a vibrant, supportive, and collaborative community of creatives in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Its mission is to energize the sustainable growth of our creative community by centering the exploration of broad creative topics, the vitality of collaboration, and opportunities for quality connections that include underrepresented groups.

Tickets are available now for purchase at revolvecc.net/registration. All ticket sales are available at the door on Nov. 8 and 9.

“Marquette, a small community with an immense creative spirit, is a place where the importance of networking, collaboration, and nurturing creativity for success becomes evident,” said Shana Baril, Revolve CC director of programming.

“Revolve CC takes immense pride in uniting these essential elements across all creative disciplines. The fusion of technology, fine arts, and digital arts, mutually inspiring one another, is a thrilling sight to behold. Our aspiration is to ignite innovative creativity, locally, remotely, and beyond.”

“In 2023 I attended Revolve CC as a speaker, but this year I’m returning as a board member to help organize the event. Marquette has a beating, thriving pulse to it, and it’s felt through our creative community. It’s the people, as it’s always been, who bring the color to this event,” said Travis Norman, Revolve CC director of marketing. “The move to the Northern Center is the next step in the story of the conference, as we continue to grow our creative culture north of the Mackinac Bridge.”

This year's keynote speakers bring a variety of creative industry expertise to the conference, from poetry and law practice to video game production.
