NEWS RELEASE
NEIL FRISKE - STATE REPRESENTATIVE
************************
Rep. Friske is attacking Dana Nessel for her dictatorial persecution of political dissidents that she announced earlier this week.
“Attorney General” Nessel announced on Tuesday, July 18 that she would be criminally charging 16 Pro-Trump electors who claimed that President Trump won the 2020 Presidential Election after hundreds of election workers were caught cheating and committing fraud at TCF Center in Detroit.
“This is a political purge!” urged Rep. Friske to his constituents. “Dana Nessel is sending her message loud and clear: If you are openly conservative and speak out against the system, she will use the state to rip you away from your family and crack down on your political allies.”
One of the defendants includes John Haggard, who, along with Rep. Friske, is a resident of Charlevoix in Northern Michigan. Haggard, despite being in his 80’s, is still facing an immense amount of time for these charges which were manufactured by the prosecutorial class.
“John Haggard is a patriot and I stand with him!” said Rep. Friske. “For his loyalty to truth, justice, and his nation, and his commitment to election integrity, I am proud to officially present him with a State Tribute, as I am honored to represent him in Lansing!”
With the political nature of how Nessel has allegedly carried out her duties, Rep. Friske questions what Nessel has actually done for the average family in Michigan.
“Crime and lawlessness in our communities is going up. What has Dana Nessel actually done as Attorney General to make Michigan safer?” asked Rep. Friske. “In 2020 her office was caught intimidating and threatening journalists who questioned left-wing narratives. Three years later, she feels empowered to begin arresting political opponents and ruling by fear alone.”
Rep. Friske remains committed to true law and order principles and the United States Constitution. Being that these charges are fabricated, manufactured, and intended to persecute rather than prosecute, they should be thrown out as illegitimate.
“I would like to remind our friends in law enforcement and in the courts of what they take their oaths to,” started Rep. Friske. “Your oath is not to Gretchen Whitmer or Dana Nessel’s illegitimate authority, or some far-left political ideology, or to the subversive political class, your oath is to the constitution. Arresting political opponents is wrong, and it will ALWAYS be wrong.”
Rep. Friske will continue to fight for John Haggard and all of the other victims of Nessel’s purge until they are free men and women once again.
