Dani Filipek is now officially in the Guinness Book of World Records setting the fastest mile for pushing a triple stroller.

Sault Ste. Marie's Dani Filipek is officially a Guinness World Records title holder.

It's a story SooLeader covered back in October 2024.

This past Friday morning, Filipek got the word from the organization stating "We are thrilled to inform you that your application for Fastest Mile Pushing a Triple Pram (female) has been successful and you are the Guinness World Records title holder.!"

"I'm so ecstatic on officially getting the fastest mile for pushing a triple stroller for Guinness World Records," Filipek said. "Establishing this record means so much for moms everywhere.

"Motherhood has made me stronger in ways I never thought possible. I couldn’t have done it without the support from all the wonderful people from Detroit Marathon. That weekend I broke the record, I was able to help 14 mothers in the first ever nursing and lactation tent at Detroit Marathon. This provided a space for mother runners and anyone needing privacy during the race to pump or nurse their babies.

"Motherhood is so special and I’m always here to support mothers in their athletic journeys. I’m thankful for my children who also were in on the fun."

Filipek's official time in the one mile, while pushing a stroller with her three young children, was 6:41.

In the age 30-34 female category, she finished third out of 59 runners.

She also the 11th female overall of 570 competitors and finished 54th out of 887 competitors in both genders.
