Watch as middle and high school students of this year's Soo Theatre Summer Camp reenact Disney PIXAR's "Finding Nemo" this Friday and Saturday in Finding Nemo Jr.
"It is a really cute show," Stage Manager Sara Russell said. "The fact that these students turned this movie into musical in a week blows me away. They are like little sponges."
Clown fish Marlin is protective over his foreshortened finned son, Nemo. One day, Nemo sets out to prove himself and swims too close to the surface. Marlin and his new friend, a blue reef fish named Dory, must do what they can to save him.
Russell said the kids were having a lot of fun putting the musical together. Summer camp began Wednesday, July 5 and is scheduled to wrap up Friday, July 14.
Performances are set for Friday, July 14 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, July 15 at noon. General admission is $18 and $10 for students. It is free for children five and under.
