On its Facebook page on Tuesday, the United States Border Patrol (USBP) said agents in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. apprehended a Venezuelan Tren de Agua gang member attempting to retrieve a previously seized vehicle. The individual was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement - Enforcement and Removal Operations (ICE ERO) for removal.

No further information was given, however SooLeader has left messages with USBP requesting more information.

USBO also added, "So far in Fiscal Year 2025, USBP has apprehended 174 illegal aliens with gang affiliations. Our agents remain relentless in keeping dangerous criminals out of our communities."

Tren de Aragua is a Venezuelan gang that started in a prison in the state of Aragua and has since expanded into Central America and the United States. The group focuses on human smuggling and other criminal activity that targets migrants, such as kidnapping, extortion, and drug trafficking.
