Here is a 'for-what-it's-worth' story just in time for driving to Grandma's house for the holidays.
A scientific study by the South China University of Technology focused on whether or not certain Christmas songs could lead to poor driving habits, based on the beats per minute (BPM).
According to their research, music with a tempo of 120 BPM or higher can make drivers more aggressive.
After evaluating a very long list said to include every classic Christmas tune, 1950’s Frosty The Snowman, first recorded by Gene Autry, and later that year by Jimmy Durante, was then named by Insuranceopedia as the most dangerous to drive to with 172 BPM.
Here is the list of the Top 10 most dangerous songs ranked by Insuranceopedia.

Researchers recommend medium-tempo music to reduce fatigue and maintain attention while driving long distances. Slow-tempo music can help with attention in the short term, but it can make drivers more tired and less attentive over longer periods of time.
If you want to listen to calming, Christmas songs while driving with low BPM, try these:
4. Blue Christmas (67 BPM)
3. Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree (67 bpm)
2. Do You Hear What I Hear? (63 BPM)
1. Carol of the Bells (47 BPM)
