WEXFORD COUNTY — On Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, at approximately 10:20 p.m. troopers from the Michigan State Police (MSP) Cadillac Post stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on E M-115 Highway near S Mack Trail in Clam Lake Township. The driver of the vehicle, 43-year-old Misheka James Floyd from Suttons Bay, was driving on a revoked driver’s license and Gun Lake Tribal Public Safety had an active warrant for his arrest. Inside the vehicle the troopers found a duffel bag containing a digital scale, a white powdery substance residue, three smaller baggies containing a white powdery substance, and several unused plastic baggies. One of the baggies tested positive for cocaine. Floyd was lodged in the Wexford County Jail pending arraignment.
