MANISTEE - Detectives with the State, Sheriffs, Chiefs Narcotics Enforcement Team (SSCENT) executed a search warrant at a residence early this morning in the City of Manistee. Approximately 11 and a half oz. of fentanyl, seven and a half oz. of methamphetamine, and cash were seized resulting in the arrest of ten individuals. The arrested individuals are facing multiple felony charges and are pending arraignment.
Detectives with SSCENT were assisted by troopers from the Michigan State Police Cadilac and Traverse City Posts, Manistee County Sheriff’s Office, Manistee City Police Department, The Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Tribal Police, and the Northern Michigan Emergency Response Team.
This was an excellent collaborative effort to protect Michigan citizens by removing deadly narcotics from the streets. The case remains under investigation.
