Keith Roland Williams II, age 92, died on October 8, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. He was born on January 18, 1932, to Keith Jr. and Helen (Terian) Williams, and was raised with his sister, Shirley and brothers, Gary, Dennis, and Gerald.
Keith married Doris L. Hommiga on May 6, 1951, and together they raised three sons, Keith III, Brent, and Jim; and a daughter, Cindy. Keith and Doris moved to California in 1956 where he started his career working at Jet Plastics in East Los Angeles. He started his own plastics injection molding company, Universal Plastic Mold (UPM), with his business partner Ray Dowling. The business was very successful and still operates today in Irwindale, California.
Keith retired from UPM at an early age and operated several other business ventures including Taylor Rental in Sault Ste. Marie, and Cindy Lee Fabrics (an excavation company).
Keith enjoyed many adventures in his life and was a very positive and giving person. He will be missed for his laughter, smile, hope, love, and positive energy.
Keith is survived by his children, Keith III, Brent, Jim and Cindy; family and dear friend, Elvera Campeau, who spent many years with Keith after the death of his wife. They cared for each other and enjoyed traveling. Elvera was with Keith through his last days and was truly a blessing to his family.
Keith was preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris.
A Memorial Service will be held on October 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Christopher Columbus Hall, 201 Sheridan Dr. Sault Ste Marie, MI 49783.
