Pauline Edith (Fowler) Badenski, age 74, died on October 9, 2024, at the Ball Hospice House in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was born on August 7, 1950, in Sault Ste. Marie to Charles A. and Emma Jean (Sadler) Fowler.

Pauline grew up in various places such as Sault Ste. Marie, Kingston, Rhode Island, Virginia Beach, Virginia, Kingsville, Texas, Bishop, Texas and Poway, California. She graduated from Poway High School with the Class of 1968. Pauline joined the United States Army in 1976 and served until she was honorably discharged in 1989. Pauline met Scott Badenski in Sault Ste. Marie and the two married on August 20, 1994, in their backyard located in Sault Ste. Marie.

Pauline loved sewing, gardening and her pets very much. She worked at Brad Blair’s shops on Portage Street and retired from the State of Florida Parks Service, where she worked at John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo, Florida.

Pauline is survived by her husband, Scott; son, Stanley J. (Michelle) Badenski of Muskegon, Michigan; grandchildren, Arthur and Kaya Badenski; siblings, Katherine J. Fowler of Brinnon, Washington, and Willoughby A. (Brook) Fowler of Sault Ste. Marie; cousins, John Vann and George Vann of Sault Ste. Marie; nephew, Trevor Gray of Bremerton, Washington; and her dear friends, Amy Cassidy of Kinross, Michigan, and Sue Goetz of Sault Ste. Marie.

Pauline was proceeded in death by her parents, Charles and Emma Jean; grandfather; Willoughby Sadler; grandmother, Alethia H. Sadler; and uncle, William Morley Sadler.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date at the American Legion.
