Soo Film Festival has announced its selection of films for 2023, a mix of features, shorts, and animation. The festival focuses on Great Lakes films and filmmakers, but entry was open worldwide.
Soo Film Festival takes place Sept. 13-17 in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan at the historic Soo Theatre and at Bayliss Public Library, a Superior District Library. Featured selections will screen at the library September 13 and 14 for free, all programs at Soo Theatre are ticketed. Dates and venues are subject to change.
Festival president Jason Markstrom: "We are grateful to be still be here to celebrate ten years of Great Lakes, Great Movies. Our selection of films and filmmakers for 2023 is terrific and we can’t wait to share them."

Festival passes and individual tickets are available now. Ticket prices are $7 General Admission (per block), $5 Seniors and Students (per block); $20 Daily Pass (admission to all blocks on a single day); $50 Festival Pass (admission to all films and shorts programs, all days). Films screened at Bayliss Library are free of charge.
