Glenda Faye (Box) Sturm, age 78, of Rudyard, Michigan, died on October 2, 2024, at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan. She was born on June 16, 1946, in Gideon, Missouri, to Vernon and Avis (Blackwell) Box.
Glenda was an avid Tiger’s baseball fan, and gifted quilt maker. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.
Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Dennis Sturm; children, Bill (Shari) Sturm and Krystal (Lyle) Harter; adopted children, Sharron Seames, and Brian Ross; grandchildren, Heather (Taylor) Trent, Derek (Sara) Harter, Cody (Kathryn) Sturm, Ben (Brianna) Harter, Britney McDonald, and Brandi McDonald; sixteen Great-Grandchildren; and sister, Linda Garrett.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Avis Box; and siblings, Shirley, Delane, Ron, Peggy, and Gayla
Per Glenda’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring/Summer of 2025.
