Chippewa County Animal Control Shelter is filled with furry critters looking for their forever homes.
Featured above is seven-month-old Nimkii who already loves the great outdoors. He was described by his previous family as happy, energetic, playful, and loving. Shelter staff have reported the same traits. Apparently, he enjoys playing with other dogs too.
Nimkii has been diagnosed with a medical condition. Currently, he is on a daily medication regiment. His future family should continue veterinarian visits.
All are fully vaccinated and treated with cared at Chippewa County Animal Control Shelter, located at 3660 S. Mackinac Trail, Sault Ste. Marie. The shelter is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Its phone number is 906-632-2519.
